EPOGEL is a protective epoxy finish for interiors, solvent-free, certified for contact with food and fresh water. It can therefore be used for drinking water tanks, cold rooms, or any part that may come into contact with food or drinking water. EPOGEL meets the requirements of EU Regulation No. 10/2011 and Ministerial Decree 21/03/73 (and subsequent updates). It is also ideal for painting bilges, lockers and other interior surfaces of fibreglass hulls. With its high waterproofing power, it eliminates the possibility of osmosis due to water absorption from inside the hull. It blocks the release of styrene or other monomers that are not completely polymerised, which give off that typical unpleasant odour that can be smelt inside fibreglass boats even years after their manufacture. making the air inside the boat much healthier. The film obtained with EPOGEL is glossy and hard, resistant to aggressive agents such as petrol or diesel, does not absorb dirt or oily substances and is very easy to clean. As it does not contain solvents, EPOGEL does not give off toxic or dangerous vapours and can be applied safely even in confined spaces.
