Cobra Marine designed the new MR HH600 GPS BT EU with the aim of creating a portable VHF radio capable of delivering the highest safety standards available today.
This has been achieved by integrating all the features of a Class D DSC, a 66-channel GPS, a torch, a strobe function, Microblue Bluetooth functionality and many other features exclusive to Cobra Marine into the MR HH600 GPS BT EU.
The integrated DSC and GPS make it possible to call for help using the distress button, automatically sending geographical coordinates and MMSI, so that the coastguard can immediately access the position and relevant data of the boat in distress (deduced from the MMSI).
The torch and strobe function offer an additional way to visually signal your position and reduce the risk of being hit by your own rescue boat.
The Microblue Bluetooth function also provides added value in terms of safety, allowing you to keep your mobile phone in a safe place and use the MR HH600 GPS BT EU for communication. This means that if you are unable to reach the coastguard via VHF or DSC, you have an additional option of doing so via mobile phone.
The set of features is completed by Rewind Say Again, Burp, advanced Noise Cancelling, signal strength bar, Roger Beep and other useful functions, all of which provide additional safety.
It is buoyant with a particularly robust and waterproof construction in accordance with the IPx8 standard, and its dimensions remain very compact despite the numerous features it offers.
