RifàttuttoTape is a soft fibreglass fabric tape impregnated with single-component polyurethane resin that hardens with moisture. Simply by wetting the tape, you can create rigid, sturdy and durable repair and reinforcement bandages on any material and surface that can be bandaged. It adheres and bonds to metals, cast iron, wood, glass, stone, marble, plastic, rubber, ceramics, PVC, polyester, fibreglass nylon and concrete. RifàttuttoTape hardens in 15-30 minutes. Once fully polymerised, it can be drilled, sanded, smoothed, ground, sandblasted and painted.
Features and advantages:
1) Soft, flexible and elastic when applied. It polymerises quickly if previously wet with water, otherwise it hardens slowly even when in contact with air.
2) Resistant and stable at temperatures between -45 °C and +150 °C.
3) Adheres to any clean, degreased material and surface that can be carefully “bandaged or wrapped”.
4) Fast curing: in 10 minutes, the bandage becomes rigid and structural hardening is achieved after 24 hours.
5) When hardened, it is resistant to water, most solvents and fuels.
6) Abrasion resistant.
7) Resistant to internal pressures up to 10 kg/cm².
8) Weather resistant.
9) The bandage is elastic when applied and does not shrink when hardened. Extendable: the end of one bandage fits perfectly onto the beginning of another.
10) Easy and safe to use; odourless.
11) Measures 5 x 130 cm.
