Automatic switch for bilge pumps - mercury-free, works with air pressure and is therefore environmentally friendly - when water rises in the bilge, it pushes air into the tube connected to the switch, creating enough pressure to activate the micro-switch - all electrical connections are out of the water and there are no moving parts - provides extraordinary reliability and safe performance - can be used with pumps with a power consumption of up to 20 amps
