Smartphones, tablets or any other Bluetooth-enabled device can be used to monitor the charger, change its settings and update it if new software features are available. - Battery charging algorithm (configurable) or fixed output. - Compatibility with a smart alternator: engine running detection mechanism. For lead-acid batteries, it is important that during partial discharges, the absorption time is short to avoid overcharging the battery. After a deep discharge, the absorption time is automatically increased to ensure that the battery is fully recharged. - For lithium batteries, the absorption time is fixed and defaults to 2 hours. - Alternatively, a fixed output voltage can be selected. A remote on/off switch or relay contact can be connected to a bipolar connector. Alternatively, the H terminal (right) of the bipolar connector can be switched to the positive terminal of the battery; or the L terminal (left) of the bipolar connector can be switched to the negative terminal of the battery (or the chassis of a vehicle, for example).
