The “adaptive” function automatically optimises the charging process based on the type of battery use. The right amount of charge: variable absorption time. In the case of low-capacity discharges (such as a yacht connected to the shore supply), the absorption time is limited in order to avoid overcharging the battery. After a deep discharge, the absorption time is automatically extended to ensure that the battery is fully charged - Also charges Li-ion (LiFePO4) batteries. The charger's on/off control can be implemented by connecting a relay or the open collector optocoupler output of a Li-Ion BMS to the remote on/off port.
